A few not on this list but still about 40 000 sales in the last two years. That is a lot of money and people.....
My two bob is that is more than enough within the sales, accessory and service industries and across the many disiplines of our rides to push for a better go.

Polaris Records Sixth Successive Sales Record

Australian Federal Chamber of Automotive Industry results have revealed that whilst the ATV market shrunk 7% in 2010, Polaris bucked the trend with 3910 ATV sales, 14% more than 2009.

This is a sixth successive annual sales record for Polaris Australia, the local subsidiary of the world's number one Off-Road Vehicles Manufacturer.

"Polaris has been building a loyal customer base for years. The word keeps spreading - nothing rides like a Polaris" said Peter Alexander, Managing Director of Polaris Australia.

The big wins for Polaris were:
• Polaris was Australia's number one ATV brand for the last 3 months of 2010.
• Polaris Ranger Utility Vehicles sales doubled, reflective of Polaris' industry leading 4x4 & 6x6 petrol and electric model lineup.
• 15% growth in youth ATV sales, led by Outlaw 90, the only major brand 90cc ATV with reverse gear.
• The new RZR170 – The world's first youth Side by Side

Polaris has historically been the number one brand in the "big bore" segment (451cc+). Key to this ongoing success is the smooth riding Sportsman utility ATVs. This year the barnstorming new Sportsman XP 850 and the silky smooth ride of the XP550 with optional power steering have helped Polaris maintain the lead with 37.5% share.

Polaris' most popular model was again the Hawkeye 2X4, and to keep the momentum going, Hawkeye will stay at $5995 rideaway until 31/3/11.

For 2011, the Minnesota manufacturer is confident of pleasing more Australian farmers with three new models due to be launched early this year, Polaris Ranger Diesel, a new, full-size Sportsman 400 and a mid-size Ranger 500EFI.

There is a historical shift underway in the farming community from ATVs to Side by Side utility vehicles.

"With this trend in mind, Polaris Australia has worked for several years to develop and test the Ranger Diesel simultaneously in Outback Australia and Minnesota. When we leaked to our dealers that we were adding a Diesel Ranger to the lineup, the response was amazing," said Alexander.
