hi 700quad
I've heard of them for sure, but know no one thats used one. I've rode bikes with the pipes listed but thats all I had to go by. Do you use the Dasa? Do they bark etc loud and deep is also a trait i prefer. Had a procircuit Ti4 Slipon but sold it during the build. how do the sounds compare?

cheers

i run a dasa on my yfz450r an love it. Yes it is loud an deep an has 4 allen key bolts that you undo to re pack it other then having to pot rivet them again like most exhausts. Makes great power an apparently go harder with bigger engine mods.

The list goes on and on really... dasa, sparks, JSR (Nmotion), Monster, Rossier and Barker are some of the top range ones. Its all personal preference really... look, sound, ease of maintenance etc

I'm starting to think the same thing about my motoworks slip on. Two rides on it and the f#cker has cracked a weld on the front mount on the can. Not happy with it at all, they better replace it, just waiting to see what they say. Mad Mad Mad

So did I..... I'll give them a chance and see what they do first though before I say they are "profanity removed" and not to buy one on every single site I can.

do they have rubber vibration gromets between the bike and the exhaust mounts or do they just bolt hard against the frame? that may be caused by flex in the sub frame. if they fix it and it does have the rubber gromets check to see if the gromet is squashed. put strong locktight on the nut and do it up till it lightly compresses the gromet. this happened to mine a few years ago, but it also may not be the problem more likely a dogged weld. note to self stay away from motoworks.

what do you guys think of CT Racing pipes??? A friend of mine is getting his head ported by them and i was considering combining postage with him but havent any feedback of their gear?

usa sites say the ct and dasa are similar in pwr & torq but the dasa comes in 2 sizes and the ct is adjustable to mods and loudness. they say heaps good things about the dasa

cheers matbrad
contacted scott seems a top bloke to deal with and very reasonable with pricing, going to focus energy and funds to get this bike together then go the dasa,
dasa has their own cnc porting machine in house would have been good to know before i got the venom.
