To be able to race in clubman it says you have to have less than 2 years experience racing, is that 2 years Motorcross or does speedway and enduros count as I want to have a go in clubman but havn't raced motorcross before, Thanks Clarkie

In SA it is 2 years experience in the field that you are entering. If you haven't done MX before and you are trying it out for the first time, you would definatley enter Clubman class. As for the other states I am not sure what their rulings are for entering classes.
Generally it is on rider experience/skill as well, if you go out and do the first couple of rounds and find that you are blitzing the field then common sense should tell you that your in the wrong class!! You can always step up during the year if you want, if your not hunting for that trophy at the end of the year.

LOL ...I'm 39 years old ...Ive been trying to get out of clubman for 21 of those... a few years back i won clubman locally and got put into "A" and the Pres at the time Ray Mclean said what's that f...king idiot doing out there .. make sure hes back in clubman the next race...lol

Best off just seeing how you go in a clubman field to start off with, if you place up the front and think you've got the speed to go expert then give it a crack, i've been sitting in expert for the last 3 years  |
