Dakar time sheets are wrong on their site as it only calculates to 24 hours. If you had a total time of 25 hours it would show as 1hr total.
If I calculate it right Maffei is just inside the top 20 of the bikes. |

1 252 PATRONELLI (ARG) YAMAHA
2 255 HALPERN (ARG) YAMAHA
3 251 MACHACEK (CZE) YAMAHA
4 263 COPETTI (ARG) YAMAHA
5 253 DECLERCK (FRA) POLARIS
6 269 LASKAWIEC (POL) YAMAHA
7 258 HANSEN (ARG) POLARIS
8 273 SANTAMARINA (ARG) HONDA
9 257 MAZZUCCO (ARG) CAN-AM
10 280 MAFFEI (ARG) YAMAHA
Maffei was the big mover from 1st to 10th because he lost a few hours yesterday. Patronelli out front leading by over an hour. Machacek keeping pace in 3rd still a few hours off the front due to lost time a few days ago.
Impressed with DeClerck (5th), he is consistant and on the smallest capacity quad in the field. |

I just noticed that the Renegade has nerf's instead off footwells. Anyone know the reason for that? _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Smitty managed to destroy a set in a week at Safari so two weeks might be too much... _________________

No change at the top of the table after a difficult navigational stage. Last nights stage winner was the lone gunman and that has shot him up the standings to 7th outright.

| Todays stage was shortened by 100km due to flooding. Tomorrows stage will now be the longest at 550+km and then they head back in to Buenos Aires for the finish. |

Last nights stage has smashed em........the longest stage had it all, moutains, sand and mud.......slippery gets in to everything mud. Only 6 quads have finished.
As of now only 14 of 56 cars and 63 of 94 bikes have crossed the line.
1 252 PATRONELLI (ARG) YAMAHA
2 255 HALPERN (ARG) YAMAHA
3 253 DECLERCK (FRA) POLARIS
4 269 LASKAWIEC (POL) YAMAHA
5 263 COPETTI (ARG) YAMAHA
6 273 SANTAMARINA (ARG) HONDA
It doesn't look like Machaeck started the stage and is out.
