Got the the opportunity to look into a Racetrack event at a track at Bollon (3? hours from Brissie)
Who would definately take the opportunity to have a run around if we got the track up and insurances in place?
Privately sanctioned outside of major racing organisations.
Can possibly organise for end of Feb if time suits.
If there is say 5 redlines we may run them on there own, if there is 3 Redlines and 5 SXS we may run them together.
If we get numbers I'll take it further.

SXS, by the end of febuary there will be 5 revolts in S.E Qld ( 2 are due to arrive from America any day now) and I am sure I could convince the boys to come out for a run.
Can you give me some more details eg costs and track type so I can sell it to the boys. Another mate has a new 2 seater Rage buggy arriving as well not to mention at least 4 Edge Barracudas I could get on the start line .

Its a quite a bit more than 3? hours from Bris,more like 7-8 Dan.

Guys just opened a MX track there, he knows a bit about getting an event up so he offered us a day if we want to use it more I guess if we want I dont think he'll hold us back.
I can check if there is some offroad tracks for a enduro loop too.
So far it just seemed we had the most public numbers and guys in touch with each other there. So I thought we may give that a whirl.
If there is enough numbers we can get that going for some sponsors and get a few $$'s around and some prizes.
How many guys do we know there with side by sides?? Will contact a few people
Sorry I got the distance wrong, I'm sure he said 3-4hours. Maybe thats in his ultralight?? haha
8 hours for 550kms though? Lets split the difference. 6.5hours should be a comfortable drive.
I dont see us being able to get one up for Aus Day and the floods may not be down enough. I'd rather do Feb or maybe early March but at that distance from Bris and say half of the people coming at least that far we want a 2 day event I think. Any State holidays I dont know about in Qld?

Having opwned a std RZR I could not in good conscience for the protection of those owners and those racing around let them rotate unimproved.
New springs and at least 2 - 2.5" spacers.
The freaking things should be called the RZR "Swiss" they roll so easy.
Im not suprised to hear on a seperate thread that Polaris may/will be withdrawing them from Australia. They represent a liability in their std form, can be fixes easy as but they must be fixed.
In terms of the rollcage Polaris are now releasing their RZR S with the 4 point cage as the std RZR so no other issues off the bat, but we have to run everything by the insurer.

I have spoken to a number of the guys and the Barracuda guys aren't interested in motorcross .
I have used "RACQ trip planner and it is 650kms from my house to Bollon so it would be a serious trip for us to organise, we usually run the trails , so we would all be alot more interested in the event if it was an enduro type rather then motocross. In saying that I will commit 2 Redlines to the start line if a race meet is held and would do my best to get the others to attend aswell.

Thanks Dan. I'm trying to get more details now or even get the guy online here even if to read the questions directly so he can pass on info. He's got heaps ofd property its just a matter of having/making a good track and that we can insure that I guess.
At that distance I have suggested to him he may want to look at nominating a long w/e or similar.
We'll keep working with the idea. We'll get something out of it I hope.

Unfortunately here the word is not good. Like many places it was flooded but this one was washed away and the guy doesn't know IF let alone WHEN he will rebuild it.
Never saw a race poor bastard.
Will post up again if there is a chance to run it, sorry guys not much to be done.
