Nar that's not the case Max.
Hell Quads are still seen by most to be a new thing... and SxS are a lot newer again.
New people join here all the time and we get all sorts of new information coming in.
From time to time, there are a bunches of people in each area that get pretty passionate about growing the games we play and most of those people are used to dealing with a lot of frustrating brick walls while trying to weigh up and capture all the 'real' positives to help move forward.
Probably just a case of mistaken intention, that's all.
Don't worry about it and keep the good news coming mate.

And i wonder what races he would have to commit to when signing up to get the deal ?

Max we arent yet and perhaps never will be safe from spammers coming on the site so we need to be cautious.
It is pretty much unprecedented that anyone, either manufacturer or individual, would offer blanket sponsorship so it bore investigation. 3 people here including myself, Fossil and a Polaris dealer and another with a relationship with Polaris in Roycroft who thought it was negative to question it, didnt have and were unable to confirm the info with 2 other dealers in my case.
Thats just where it becomes very suss. And so I persisted in asking you for the details (maybe your mate got the details a little "early")
So there is nothing personal against it, but its the old story of if an offer is too good to be true, and nobody else was able to verify it, it is.
I have a business in this industry and I'll do whatever it takes to protect the integrity of that industry 100%. There's a million and one things going on and million of them aren't confirmed so until they are I believe its in the interest of everyone who owns a SXS and who believes they have involvement in the industry to vet any piece of information as accurate so thateveryone who wants to buy and SXS or get into the sport has 100% clarity on whats happening.
Like the birth of any child there may be a bit of kicking and screaming.
If anything I have been the one shouting the enthusiasm of the sport whether with the CCDA when they were running events, or Phils event or anything. I have promoted them all 100% and have congratulated Polaris in this thread also when the details were able to be sourced.
Like I said its nothing personal but unverified information has to be scrutinised so that all participants have 100% clarity.
And as I said in an earlier post I have moved on. So I'm with you on that and walking on.

They are here and started being delivered 2 weeks ago.
Of all the models, the X model is in shortest supply but 4 of them have already been delivered to customers who ordered them.
1 to a customer in Tassi and 1 to a customer from Melbourne Sea Doo (dunno about the other 2).

Hi all
I bought the RZR S with the full race option ($23k all up)picked it up mid December still waiting for my winch (think if offering a package stock would be availiable) any way im stoked with my polaris the best fun 20lt of fuel has given me for a long time (ex national offroad series racer remember kempsey maclay 1000 etc) and the surport by polaris is very welcomed and the thought of non-cheque book racing has revived the interest of racing again lets keep it fun guys and develop this sport so our kids WILL HAVE something to enjoy as the laws around us slowly choke this society .
LOOKING FORWARD to meeting all of you as this year gets under way The "springs" event at warwick has been posponed due to the floods BUGGA keen to get my teeth into the rounds availiable
