Hi Forum,
I'm currently trying to find areas to ride my Quad and SxS in the Albury/Wodonga Area. Yesterday I took my Kymco UXV into the Baranduda Ranges, and it was the best fun I've had in ages. There were heaps of trail bike riders and heaps of 4x4's really making a mess of the tracks. The UXV powered up the tracks in the mud, and my brother and I had a ball.
Now, I understand that I'd get a fine of $300 because the machine is under 500cc (just) and since I've got a motorcycle license, I'd not be fined for riding without a permit. Is there any places in my area that I can freely ride?
These laws really "profanity removed" me, as my quads are less impacting on the fire trails than the idiot 4x4's that were out in the rain yesterday, and the trailbike riders on the 2 stroke bikes were really ripping up the terrain. What ever happened to the 'tread lightly' motto, everyone but me was killing the trails, and I'm the outlaw? WTF? Please, anyone can help me? |
