hey len, have you ever thought that its about the rider, your pretty good or is it the bike that makes you win, and your just a passenger? Ryan is pretty good too, oh so is chris b, and the pommies. would you win on a honda, suzuki in the vets class, i think so. don't know about you all but i am tired of the best quad on the planet. we need a new BQOTP, any takers?
im up for len to be the best quad rider on the planet, or from what he is saying the best quad passenger on the planet. _________________ 2012 sponsors, Working on it. |

1. I didn't start the topic on this occasion
2. If correct tyre selection can make a 2 second difference , what can suspension and a well set up quad do?
3. On the same day we had Ant Yewers stock KTM and the one that had a rekluse auto pro Z auto clutch, warm motor and PEP WP rebuilds . We both did Lap after lap alternating the two. Both Ant & I were 4 seconds a lap faster on his KTM Quads
4. The rider of coarse is the main part , 2nd the machinery and yes it can make the rider faster and most importantly confident on what he is racing.
5 .You spend less $ on a KTM to make it competative at the top level , irrespective of rider or class. In particular 50 hp standard. I have had Yamaha,Honda and now KTM.
6 . Would I have won the national in my class on another brand of ATV or suspension , dunno but I do know what combo won, so does Ryan and I'll be sticking with it.
Thanks for the compliment anyway Mick

Oh that's right there were no KTM-PEP in your class.
Lucky you were not on KTM-PEP because as it got rough your actual lap times may have been better than the 45+ class...just a thought champ |

What model shocks did you buy, how much travel do you get and can you lower it to 6 inches frame to ground, level, without effecting Ride quality?
Can you vary the spring rate at various parts of travel ?
Can you ring up on a Sunday at the track and get set up assistance on the day?
Cost is only one part of the overall equation and depends if you are prepared to compromise price for custom, hand built quality products. _________________ Cheers

Answer len is do we need our bike lower then 6 inches do we need all that complicated crap that goes with shocks... maybe yes maybe no... i dont even rememeber wat ur answer was now... i have flat landed off 80ft table top with fox evols front standard wp rear and it soaked it up no worries.. road finke on them no worries go trail riding no worries.. do speedway no wories and when i had an issue i could ask anyone of 50 or so bikes at finke who had fox shocks wat i should do with adjustment to make them better.... dont get me wrong i not knocking your shock ur trying to sell... i rode a 505 with them and it felt awsome... just like mine does with the evols.. pep is an awsome product.. make it more affordable for the un sponsered racer _________________ If it ain't orange it a lemon!! No you don't have to have it at 6 inches but in certain circumstances it will handle the best .
I only have to ring one guy to help with set up and he is the owner of PEP If a race is on I ring him anytime and he will help with set up A-B or C rider they really are simple to set up.
I am glad you are happy with your set up .
The PEP WP rebuilds are awsome 10 inches of travel and cost effective.
Also there are a range of PEP where you can custom build shocks for about 3 k Not everyone needs the PB1 Pro package, however with an equal OZ $ with USA we can do very competative package
All this hype about air on the front leave the rear stock and save money is a sales pitch with bad advice . Whilst they feel plush and better it's not a balanced or optimum combination .To get the quad level and handling correctly you will be at a compromise .If someone wants a fronts or rear separate ,I would advise they wait until they save some more coin and buy them together, then set it up properly.
How many formula one cars or rally cars have air suspension ? _________________ Cheers

hi lenny, i still see your trying to bag a product you know nothing about, as you still have not ridden a bike with a fox setup.
in the past 2 weeks i recomended 4 x full Fox setups for ATV riders who were in need of a full suspension setup in Australia and they ended up buying them via a distrubutor in Australia or directly from Hardiman approx $12,000 in sales all becuase the Shocks are the best
two of the customers will take delivery of the product next week as the products was in stock the other 2 in 2 weeks time as they are getting custom made to order while we speak, why did they buy fox because of all the things that Fox and Elka can do and PEP can't.
let us know when you sell 4 setups in a week at a non discounted rate and not to sponsored riders .
your sales pitch is true, you can offer all those quality things to your customers, but so can everyone else and more i guess when you know more about F1 suspension than all of us, i guess you must know what your talking about we know your mate from PEP does.
i dread your extened reply _________________ 2012 sponsors, Working on it.
