Fort Lytton MX has invited us quad riders to ther end of year fun day. If we can get 6 or more quads they will let us run, we are looking for kids, women and china quads that want to come and run on a track just for fun.

They have left it to me to make it happen so it is not about the age or,sex or bike it is just a chance to come and ride a mx track for fun.

There is an example : my 13 year son will ride my 400 honda and my litllel girl will ride here 90cc quad. i am looking for china women and kids...... you fast dads are there to take the photos. the team at fort lytton Brisbane are happy to have you there and will run a class next year as support class.

Cost for each rider is $40 but no day licence need. Which is cheap.

Please post any intrest.

14th November early start.

This time please dont bitch about the price as it would cost more to go to reedy or the movies, this club have opened there arms to us quads riders so lets thank them with your support

Good to see some interest.

So to recap it's at Fort Lytton heres the website http://www.fortlyttonmx.com/ on sunday the 14th of November you must be there by 8.30 as scrutineering is at 9.00 but if you get there earlyer you will get a good park.

This is NOT a race day this is a fun day for the kids and females which gives us quad guys a chance to ride a motocross track with no pressure. We will get three to four runs on the track plus practice if we get enough quads we will be doing a fun race with the div 1 class (KTM 50) in a relay race for fun this is there end of year break up day so there will be lots of fun thing to watch as no one is racing for points or trophies.

you don’t have to be a club member you don’t have to have a race licence just turn up and pay your $40 per rider if you don’t know where it is ring me my name is Kevan and my number is 0430731366 the club has left me to organize and we will run the day were everybody is happy Smile

these guys are happy for us quad guys to run at their monthly race meeting next year with trophies each round so let’s see some support Queensland if we become club members riding is cheaper and the best thing is you don’t have to pay club membership up front you pay a little amount each month

Huskygoat,

As long as they had a kill switch/lanyard and passed scrutineering ,
why shouldn't they be allowed to go out on a track [MA sanctioned]
For a $1000 they could have a quad and full setup ready to go out and have fun.
They might never win a race , but they're out there .
Putting bums on seats and getting involved in our sport.
This is how we get more juniors into racing!!!
When I was a kid ,I raced BMX and there were kids who turned up to ride/race on bikes with back pedal brakes. They were just starting out and this was all there parents could afford.
As time went on and they got better there parents could see that the bike was holding them back so they then progressed to better, lighter ,faster bikes to help further there riding ability/experiences.
The same can be said for these "china's".
As these kids progress so will there needs for a better quad.
This at least get the kids out on the track and circulating .
Mum and dad haven't had to out lay a months wages to get the kid on a quad to see if they like it.

Well done to the Fort Lytton Mx club and all involved for getting bums on seats and giving kids the opportunity to experience our great sport in a safe & controlled enviroment.

thanks scotty.

mate the kids had a ball, and we did aswell. i was a very proud dad. here is a shot of my daughter taylah getting some air,

and thanks guys for the great comments, i too have wanted this for sooo long, but had to wait for everything to fall into place , before we did this.
me and my mate Paul at Gold Coast Quads , have been trying to get this happening but we were never really were given a chance, we were told we needed 6 juniors to make a class, we already had 2 confirmed, but that was it.
so when kev put the invite out, we took the opportunity while it was there.
thanks again kev , we couldnt have done this with out you , and thanks also to Fort Lyntton , for giving junior quad riders a chance , this should make for an awesome event , kev your a legend.
