Anyone run a +2 Steering stem in an TRX450 as I find the bars to low even with a set of bar risers on top of the originals and Quad Height Flexx bars, thanks Clarkie _________________ Has turned to the Dark Side! |

I have a +2 on my '06 TRX.
Its a big improvement, the riding position on a stock TRX is way to low.
Everytime you go over a big jump, you get the feeling ur going to flip over the front.
I dont have a anti vibe one, mine is home made and also has a set of 1 1/8 risers with a pro-taper Contour Carmichael fat bar on it.
If you have the $,go for the LSR one or something similar, the anti vibe is well worth the money _________________ 2008 Raptor700SE Road use

Well i've got to stop procrastinating and get a new stem now, just went for some enduro practice and put the quad end to end 3 times, need new nudge bar, rear bar, steering stem and various other bits. _________________ Has turned to the Dark Side! |

And thats coming from someone who has "if in doubt,go flat out"as a sig
When riding, its a matter of WHEN it happens...not IF.
We all stuff ourselves from time to time, i dont care, its flat out or dont ride at all in my book of rules.
Good luck with the new parts m8, post a pic when its got all the new shiny bits!

I have a +2" Houser stem on my TRX450. It's far more comfortable and you can you move your body around more. I have extended throttle and break lines.
I use Pastrana FMX bend like Dutchy but they are also available in a "Raptor" bend that is about 20mm higher. |

Haha, yeah but I'm not running my own business. If I did it the parents will still be earning money for me. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

I also run my own business here in Holland. I have a smal heavy machinery rental company.
If you live by every rule in the book then you stop living all together over here! There are rules and exceptions for everything in the smal print.
But back ontopic....Clarkie, Good choice! you will really benefit from the anti vibe +2. When you use a Flexx bar it will work even better.
Only thing then is that you have to get used to EVERYTHING flexxing
Its like the quad is floating somewhere inbetween your knees.
But it will give you much more muscle endurance in a race,it really takes away all the nasty cramp causing shocks you get from thrashing aroung the track.

Got a Roll Design anti vibe extended stem of Hustler and some extended brake lines also, just going to machine up some alloy spacers to make the clamps 1 inch higher, so with Anti vibe stem, flexx bars and Fox Evols it should make a sweet ride now _________________ Has turned to the Dark Side! |

Oh yeah!
You got it all right,to easy!
I'm sure that setup is enough to get a very sweet ride around the tracks.
If the engine is just as good as the rest of the setup, its a winner for sure.
Good luck _________________ 2008 Raptor700SE Road use
