I seriously hope that happens, and soon. It would be wicked just to ride on the roads to your races, ride at the event, and then ride home again.

Have you ever ridden a quad on the bitumen? The thing is all over the place and twitchy as anything. I wouldn't like to be trying to ride one at speed for any distance the way they are currently setup

Dunno how yours is set up but mine isn't twitchy on the bitumen. Would be even better now with my speedway set up too.

Surfin
Yep, Done a bit of bitumen riding, Had a go at supermotard, done a bit of hardpacked dirttrack, plus speedway (both of which can be sticky like tar at times) and of course the odd Squirt down the road. Which should go without saying.

Twitchiness (despite the short wheelbase) is all in the setup mate, can be dialed out no dramas.

People/governments talk about lowering carbon footprint, riding a quad to work each day would certainly reduce my carbon footprint. plus be a whole lot of fun to boot.

Like I said. Its about time governments got with the program

I rode an Outlander 800 Max about 400km on bitumin an the way to the cape a couple of years ago. Way more comfortable and relaxing than the old Harley I used to have once you get up around the 110kph mark. I was as surprised as you are!

After spending plenty of time on the roads in WA on my quad including riding around the center of Perth I don't think quads have any place on the roads, except for events like safari. They are not made for it and it's bloody boring. Keep your quads in the dirt

Sorry smithy I've have too disagree with your analysis of quads on tar being boring Confused

After recently coming back from Atujara, Collingrove Hillclimb as a pit bitch eek eek eek

I now considering getting leather and letting the beard hang free eek laughing

Also a couple of your good quading pals could vouch for fun on tar (bu11et and MrsB)

Oneday someone needs to drag you to a tar track race (with esky in tow) and see these crazy coconuts doing there stuff eek eek laughing

Talking about a whole diffrent thing there ranga wookie? I'm saying quads have no place on public roads. I'd love to have a go at motard reckon it would be awesome fun

Phewwww!!! I'm glad to hear your comments!!!!

I was afraid you were against quads on tar(racing) altogether.

I'll go back slipping into leather eek eek eek

There must be someone? willing to offer Cowchaser a ride on tar!!!
