I would remind all forum members that the following is discouraged on the forums, and may result in your post being edited, or alternatively, your account being banned for repeat offences.

- Please do not personally attack other users.
- Please do not actively attack or defame businesses in the industry.
- Please do not post using offensive language.
- Please do not post racist or discriminatory remarks.

Sharing your opinion is fine, but try and do it in a civil manner. Also, most users will find that positive and constructive comments will usually assist them to make up their own minds about retailers.

Please also keep in mind that site members are a full range of ages, and the site aims to maintain a PG rating. Users with adult themed avatars may be asked to change them, and adult themed posts may be edited by moderators.

If you do have any problems relating to posts, please PM Admin or contact OZATV via one of the methods below.

Additional note regarding moderation

Should a thread be bought to the attention of site admins or moderators, the post may be temporarily moved to a moderators section of the site while the issue is being addressed.

When this occurs, authors of the problem posts will be PM'd by Admin or Moderators to discuss why there is an issue, and in most cases, once the issue is resolved the thread may be returned into the general thread area, or where a policy above is clearly breached, the thread will be removed.

Additional note regarding posts on problems with suppliers and manufacturers

Where a thread may be removed due to an issue related to a detailed complaint about a manufacturer or supplier, it is most likely that it will only be temporarily removed while OZATV.com hope to assist the user and supplier to sort out a resolution regarding the issue.

Should you require assistance with contacting national suppliers, please post your request in the general chit chat area.

Banning Of Users

As a first warning, a user on the site who is felt to be breaching these guidelines may be sent a warning via PM from moderators or the site admin.

Ideally, almost all matters are able to be resolved through the moderators or admin highlighting what the cause of the issue is, and the issue is resolved positively.

Should issues arise where the first warning is ignored, or where further infringements occur over time, a second warning may be issued to the user and discussion on the matter take place.

If the user continues to infringe the guidelines, it may result in them being permanently banned from the site, which will involve their username being locked, ip address blocked from accessing the site, and further attempts to create new accounts will be also banned.

Multiple Accounts

Users who are found to have multiple accounts - especially where a second account is being used to breach these guidelines - will be warned initially, asked to close one of the accounts (unless Admin feels there is a legitimate reason for multiple accounts) and may face banning of one or all accounts.

Spam Prevention

New users on the site face a moderation process when they post their first messages on the site. This process is in place to be able to quickly identify, remove and ban accounts that are automatically created by spammers.

A side effect of this process is that legitimate new users may face a wait of up to 72 hours before their post is approved by a volunteer moderator, though normally the wait is only a few hours.

If you do find that your first posts are not approved within 72 hours, please PM admin or a moderator in order to have them check and complete the approval process.
