| I entered Gasdash early and only cost me $875 . But didn't make it in the end. Sounds like there are about 20 riders comitted to the Condo 750 next year looking good after reading all these comments. |

Condo is goung to be huge then if we get 20 thats a fifth of the feild in quads. Can't wait! If any of you guys need any help at all dont hesitate to contact myself, Cheif or Maggots

Well I've literally just got in the door back from Carnarvon. I haven't even started unpacking the car.
This years Gas Dash was everything it promises to be, as Richard can tell you.
A few spills lots of thrills and lots of DNF's.
Congrats to John Luliano first quad across the line, with what looked like handle bars bent down around the tank, and another quad hot on his heals. Well done.
Again my efforts of pit bitch were not rewarded, the big Maico 490 cooked itself in the river bed. DOH!
Oh well, next year here we come.

That's not me but that's the fella I went as crew for this year and last year. Ralph Wilson It's a 1981 MEGA2 490 twin shock.
I went up in 2008 as crew for a mate on a DS650 quad and we were camped near this bloke with his old Maico. I kept an eye out for him at some of the fuel stops.
Last year he seised the engine in the river just short of the finish on day one, got it going again but fried the ignition in the river bed on day 2.
Yesterday all was going great until roughly the same spot and once again fried the ignition in the river. TOO DARN HOT FOR THE OLD GIRL.
