Ours are through insuremyride.com.au and we pay around $250 per year. Do a search of the forum as I believe there have been a number of recent posts on this topic.

I think luke B commented on here a little while back about elders insurance. had a heap of gear stolen and they paid up.
Check to see if your house and contents insurance will cover it - will have to declare value but may be worth it as paying a little extra may be cheaper than dedicated insurance.

two of our quads are insured through JLT Dirt Bike Insurance.
Dads raptor 700 is with JLT & costs roughly $230 a yr and covers fire, theft and damage in transit. Our other insurance provider QBE only covers fire & theft.
We found out the hard way that each yamaha dealer has their own preffered insurance company they use with YMF and now are paying approx. $200 more for QBE insurance which doesnt cover as much as JLT.

you do not have to stay with qbe, just change over and then let ymf know that you have changed companys and if you want send them a copy of the policy. dont let the dealer make choose their choice of company, they get a kick back from qbe, I was with qbe, and they are to exspensive...
