unfortunately you probably have to look in the US try www.z400parts.com.
There should be plenty available it is one of the biggest selling quads in the US and they love modifying anything

The motor top end is the same as the DRZ400 trail bike.
You can usually find gear for those around.
Also the Kawasaki KFX400 is identical

Try rockymountainatvmc.com. Good prices and they seem to have the cheapest shipping from the US.

Mate, check ebay!!! I have a kfx400 and i reckon i could build a stroked bigbore motor with a better clutch and bigger carby plus full exhaust for under 2 grand. It amazing how cheap you can ge stuff from over there. I just bought a sproket and chain set cheaper than i could get a front sproket from my local bloke! And i can buy a titanium exhaust and have it here cheaper than i can buy an aluminium slip on here!
Seems to be a whole lot of mark up on quad parts in oz. Very unfortunate.

The import dutys have a lot to do with it, suppliers who buy large amounts at once have to pay through the nose to get it here! not all markup. Also I dont see places like Ebay sponsoring ANY events.

Hll true, and fair enough. However, for a recreational rider like myself who has no interest whatsoever in events all it does is make the sport too expensive to bother with. I personally would rather have realistically priced parts and not bother with races. Thats just me though.

and a poor? exchange rate does not help either......but on the other hand, the scale of economics and population base (300 million in the USA and 23 million in AUS) has a lot to do with it as well.

I was holding off putting this review up, but I thought after viewing this thread you would get some help from it. Check out the ATV reviews page on thumbpump.com for the video file on Austraco's pimped out LTZ400:

Hope this helps
