Wish i had an exciting story but this was sadly not thwe case....I have spilt petrol in the boot of my Shitta....aired the boot cloth base out for a week, no fuel where the spare wheel is...smell is now in the cabin....iv had open windows all the way down...tried a few air fresheners & even someone said baking soda.....an ideas? got to get rid of it before summer because the other day when it was sunny & 18....the fumes were so strong it got my head spinning....this spill happened over a month ago...an ideas? _________________ 04 TRX 450r

I've used laundry Dynamo to get rid of petrol smells. Maybe you could mix up a really strong batch with boiling water and pour it in there and let it soak then use some of that oil spill stuff to soak it up.
At least it will be clean if it doesn't get rid of the stink. |

you'll need to rip the underlay out and let it air out after a good hosing down, or burn it. _________________ 2005 KFX700
