How do I find unbiased opinions on the treatment of animals in the circus?
FIRST- I am an animal lover! So please no bashing. I've taken my young nephew to the circus the past 2 years but now my sister has said she doesn't want him going anymore. She has lots of literature from animal rights groups (she hasn't shared with me yet, but will) and believes the animals are being mistreated. But I wonder if there is another side to the story? I find it hard to believe that circuses could beat and torture animals in this day and age and get away with it, there's so much scrutiny! Searching the web all I find are tons of sites sponsored by animal rights organizations. How can I find the other side as seen by impartial third parties? Don't the circuses contribute to breeding and conservation programs with the big cats? I want to be able to read information from both sides of the issue.

Probably asking a forum that relates to quads, trikes and buggies is unlikely to give you any answers to your questions.
The circus referred to in the above post is about motorised performances. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

I'm pretty sure that all the animals riding the bikes at the nitro circus are doing so of there own free will. |

well I think circus's are outdated and cruel... but what do they do with these animals if they shut down?, get a big gun and shoot the buggers. So at least while these are going, the animal has "some" quality of life, which is better than no life. and these stupid activests need to adopt a lion or tiger and stick in their back yard for a day or two and see how they cope with a 600kilo pussy cat that wants to rip your head and eat it _________________ 2005 KFX700

No animals were hurt during the show but a few motorbikes did get minor scratches! _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo
