Got a 08 Banshee and have been told to rebuild the swingarm sooner rather than later to avoid major damages. What goes wrong with them, what should i be looking for?? Owned it since new and always greased.

From my experience, the main pivot sleeve tends to seize on to the pivot bolt if left untouched and then becomes a big job to remove (drilling out pivot bolt etc), best to remove regularly and coat with Never-Seize or equivalent.

Same deal with the axle carrier and carrier bearings.

Do that and u will have years of hassle free service.

You should only need to rebuild the pivot point when the sleve is flogged out and there is movement in there.
