ktm 450 clutch

mates got a ktm 450 everytime we take it out the clutch fluid is empty
guy at the bike shop tell us it evaporates i find this hard to believe
no visable leaks
is the slave cylinder rebuildable???
and is this a common problem???

Just asking i had this on a banshee, hang on, it had a hyd clutch as well.

could not find a leak, useing all the fluid . so i filled it up ,bleed the line. and tyde the lever in and waitied found it had a pin hole in the bandjoe fitting.

just asking.

cheers thats worth having a look at
i was also told it might be leaking internally in to the engine

Im pretty sure the slave just pushes a rod - so i don't think it can leak into the engine. It would be able to leak at the slave tho. Would be bad for the internals if it did get fluid in the engine!
