Hi All,

Been reading this forum for a few weeks now, im originally from Newcastle (Soldiers Point) and now in Brisbane but am soon to be relocating back to the area (looking at the new estate in Fern Bay)

I used to ride trail bikes and do alot of fourby driving on stockton beach but unfortunately I was hit by a car on my road bike up here and lost my right leg below the knee. I want to get back on the sand when i come home and have a SR5 2008 Hilux which is fine but wanting to have a bit more fun.

Was looking at the Raptor700 Quads but im not sure how I will go with the prosthetic leg, im thinking the constant half standing / half sitting and the reduced ability to be as accurate on the rear breaks might be dangerous. Thoughts?

My other option would be to go down the Odyssey route. used to have an FL250 when i was younger (about 8 or so) but not sure how they would go now that im older and alot bigger (110kg), guess id be after an FL350 or something modified?

Any ideas on the speeds you will pull on the sand in a 250/350 odyssey?

Look forward to some comments Smile
