Hook your battery to your charger, get another good battery and hook it up to the flat battery as well via jumper leads.

What this does is tricks the completely flat battery into thinking that it has some charge and it should start charging.

Once you see the charging light come on your charger, disconnect the good battery and jumper leads.

If this doesn't work, your battery is totally snuffed.

This has worked for me in the past.

I thought you arent supposed to charge constant voltage batteries with normal battery chargers.Could be wrong just what ive been told also might pay to check your regulater/rectifier.But yeh sometimes just change for a new battery and youll be sweet.

I think the charging system is designed to top up the battery, not recharge it from flat.
Put it on a battery charger for a few days and see how it goes, if its ok after that, all's good, otherwise new is required.
