it hasn't been a problem in previous years racing more than 1 class.

This only applies to juniors .Where some of the age groups overlap once you ride in the older age group you can't go back to the younger one.

I know the rule you are talking about scotty but there are some areas where a junior can run more than one class. Age overlap does allow for it to happen.

ok guys a few people have commented on the vets class.... we are looking at bringing it back to 35+ ... the reason we where looking at the 40+ class was because most of the riders 35 to 40 are fast enought to be pro's and to give the older fellas a better chance..... we have had complaints tho so it has already been put to MQ for changing....
Race length.... the vets will be a 4 lap race so you old fellas dont die on us  and the pro class can come back to a 12min +1 and all other 12min +1 races will be brought back to 10min +1 ..... ladies and juniors can be changed if people have problemes.... the reason for longer races was trying to give you all more time on the seat, i had herd in the past that people didnt want to travel for a short amout of ride time...

this is our first titles as being a new QQRA committee since last run titles... we will try to keep everyone happy but can't do that without feedback

Here is a suggestion:
Vets 35-40
Vets 40-45
Vets 45+
Run em in 1 race....gives some of the older guys who are the real vets a chance to shine in their own class. Really...35 is hardly a veteran...more like a pro rider who has just aged a bit
