Tugalong has recently put here DA in to wingecarribe shire council for hope of reopening this fabulous bike park. If you were planning on going or have been there and was dissapointed in councils decision of its closure. PLEASE either email or write to the council with letters of support for its re-opening.

This park not only caters for quads, but all levels of motorcross and for all ages, its family orientated and only 40 mins out of Bowral. the only reason for its closure in the first place were whinging neighbours complaining about the amount of traffic and the "noise" of the bikes, but after many tests and a few changes and hopefully the support of many keen riders we can help the guys at Tugalong (and ourselves) get back on track! literally!

Thats some of the best news for the people in sydney ,this bike park is one of the best around with all levels of riding it would be great if it re opens

Yes it would be fantastic over 5000 acres of bushland,with trails to suit all levels of riding. Has camping and motel style rooms so you and the family can stay for the weekend. There are motocross tracks and kids tracks plenty of room for more developement too.

We REALLY need to get behind the Hazlett family at Tugalong and make sure they get the support they need from us guys to re-open! Being so close to sydney and just off the highway it is convienient for everyone in the south to get to. I have written many letters to the paper which have been published trying to get local support.

With the few locals who had complained got the place closed last april, and they are still complaining, they are concerned about the noise of the bikes, the rubbish possibly littered along the road in, and the deteriation of the dirt road to get there. I know that if they do open again I hope people will respect the residents and follow the road rules ,not be "hoons", also be enviromentally aware and take there rubbish with them. We need to work together on this one! I wanna get back on my bike and the closest place for me is here or I have to travel 3 hrs! Council has closed off all our local "spots" so most of the highlands have no where to ride!

A support letter sent.

Great news. This place rocks.

Please bombard council with your support! email them!! We need to tell them the positive aspects of this facility and show we can be considerate to the residents as well!

There has been similar post on dirt bike world asking to show support too!


We only have until the 16th August to send our support to council.
