MMMMM, very interesting. Nice teaser pics Yogie.

I just hope Kawasaki use the LTR as a reference and don't do a half arsed job.

Aluminium frame on a quad?? Hope it doesn't end up in the same state as my last aluminium swingarm.

i heard the alliance/info sharing between Suzi & Kwaka had ended?

Hmmm...another new race-ready EFI 450...should put some pressure on Honda & Yamaha for their new designs Confused

Correct Sairs, Suzuki and Kawa no longer share any development work or bikes etc.

As a result Kawasaki have been behind the 8 ball with their 450cc engine development and new model lineup.

Suzuki has set a new benchmark with the LTR 450, I just hope new models from other manufacturers are up to the same standard.

they made pretty good ground up with their KX450F motor, I agree though, hope all the other catch up with this sort of thinking.

The Suzuki/Kawasaki model sharing days are over as far a new models coming out.

Kawasaki's KX450F was a completeley different development from Suzukis RMZ450 and it will be the same with the quads.

the Kwaka quads moter looks more like its 2 wheel counter part than the suzi does.

I was really looking forward to this beast as the KX450F motor is suppose to be the bomb and with an alloy frame these things were looking pretty sh$t hot.

But it looks like they managed to F&^k it all up by only offering up a quad that is 45" wide. Great eh. Now if I want to race it, I'm up for ($1400) A-Arms, new front shocks ($2000) to mach the A-Arms, a wide ($700) axle, Nerfs ($300), and a kill switch ($35). Just to see if it is going to be as good as my already wide Yamaha.

But wait theres more. Lets not forget the rear shock if the standard shock can't keep up with the new front ones. Add that to the sticker price, which I'm guessing will be about $13500. Looks to be an $18000 proposition........

Think I just might buy some flash green fenders for my YFZ...... YAY!
