hey guys, thinking about selling the original engine out of my '02 banshee.
its 7 years old but it has very low hours, so low in fact that it is still on its original bore! i honed and re-ringed it last year, along with all new gaskets and crank seals,so its good to go.
Its pretty basic, but it makes just shy of 50hp on a very conservative dyno, and i have the sheet to prove it.
Specs:
Stock bore, stock port.
20thou off the head
Modified stock timing plate for +4 timing
new clutch, fzr1000 fibres and steels, heavy duty springs
v force 3 reeds
pro design intake manifold
engine will come with all electrics including stator, flywheel, cdi etc.
does not include carbs or pipes, but to make 50hp all you need is keihin 33pwks and fmf fatty's. ill even tell you the exact jetting to run!
looking for offers around $1500.

bump, found the dyno sheet...
i forgot that I had an RZ cdi on it when it made that power, i can include that though too.

they would be $1500, and you get the rest of the motor free!!
seriously though, i would want $600 for the barrels, but someone would have to commit to the bottom end first.
