Looking to buy new bike in December. Not sure of what to get been looking at the ktms alot. They are set up with everything i need in a bike. Yamaha have a lot to catch up to the ktms . So the question is which one. Yamaha yfz450r and spend about 2-3 thousand on it or ktm and spend about 8 hundred. (on extras) Let us know your point of view.

| Kinda too early to make a decision.......by December you'll know if there are any issues with either model. |

wasn’t there some guy saying the 505ktm supposed to be the best quad ever build that good you didn’t even need to ride it did that for you as well if you can afford them that is 450 ktms are suppose to have frame issues but so's every other quad on the planet cant belive every thing you read
its a bit early to chose atm as you dont know what 2010 bikes will have but I am not convinced the yfz450r is the be all and end all either aren’t Suzuki’s supposed to be kicking butt in the pro class in the us ahh who cares , why do you need to spend so much on them 4, are you that good you can ride the wheels off it with out mods ?
it will get down to what you like nothing any one saids here should change that we dont haft to ride it you do! |

im getting a new quad to after xmas
im trying to work out whats better for me too either a yfz450 or raptor 700
ive been led to belive that the rappy has it over the yfz with top speed and being fuel injected a lot less hassle in dusty places and that the yfZ is faster off the mark lighter and more agile ....
choices choices |

| stick with yamaha i'd say cotto, cheaper spare parts, and i don't see what is going to cost you so much extra to set up with the yfz450r of the 450sx. Have you thought about the can am ds450mx at all? |

Quick question, with the 12.5:1 compression ratio, will the sx run on 98 octane fuel or need a booster or race fuel? _________________ 08 Raptor 700SE

Yeah 98 easy.
Probably 95 OK... but don't do it, stick with 98. _________________ Can-Am X Team
