raptor 700 gear problem

hi ive got a 08 raptor 700 and last week i shifted it into 5th gear and it started to jerk me back and foward and now thats all it does it onlydoes this in 5th

Are you hitting the rev or speed limited? My 09 Raptor done this in fifth gear as well, disconnected the speed limited & it doesn't do I any more.

Does the engine light come on if you disconnect the speed limiter?

cut and ground the light blue wire on the end of the ecu loom and you don't need to disconnect the sensor and won't get check eng light on

I read on the raptorforums that it doesnt work on the 09??

i got 08, have a look at the differences between the 08 and 09 wiring diagrams, can't see yamaha doing much different besides adding the speedo

I have not been able to verify if cutting the blue wire works on the 09' Raptor. My Raptor done exactly as above in fifth gear. Disconnected the speedo seemed to stop this & that is all it seemed to do. No speed gain at all, just no shaking.

no its starts doing it when i get in 5th with a bit of throtle no i haven disconect the speed sensor were is it on the motor
