Guys,

Wanted some advice if I could. I have a 700 Grizzly which I am generally really pleased with however the suspension is too firm and I find it too tippy when tackling very slow steep tracks.

I have backed off the pre-load on the springs but suspension is still very rigid.

Aftermarket suspension is expensive (but worth it I'm sure) but any other sugestions before I entertain that option?

Thanks

I have a 2005 Griz. I removed the stock rims and fitted mags giving it 250mm of extra track on the rear and 150mm extra track on the front. The result is a vehicle that really sticks to the ground. It's reduced the centre of gravity to the point whereby it's very hard to tip now unless the tyre pressures are very low (under minimum spec) on soft sand dunes driving neagtive camber.
I play with the suspension settings depending on the load I'm carrying. It's a great machine though I'm mostly a dunes rider.
So go the wide rims mate and keep an eye on the tyre pressures.
