I probably should have done this bit first however I often go about things backwards.
My name is Don. I'm a 51 yo bloke from Perth. I ride a 2005 Yamaha Grizzly (Special Edition ... effectively means it's painted black). I've ditched the original rims for wider tracking mags and more dune suited tyre equipment on the rear. The only other thing that's not standard is the rod holders fitted to the front bumper bar. Yes I do a bit of fishing!
I'm not a racing quad man but more your wilderness explorer type. I usually film my trips and edit them down to watchable DVDs.
I ride with a couple of mates. Frank with his Bombardier 650 DS, James (the viking) on his 700 Raptor and Mark on his 450 Yammie.
My next trip will be to the Carnarvon region in mid June.
I've toured Esperance, Wagoe and Lancelin extensively.
I enjoy a beer or a red and dabble on guitar.
