Hi all i have a 07 yfz 450 and one of the plugs is busted of the radiator. So it wont switch the thermo on so i'm going to wire a switch for on/off. Any ideas on which wires and where. cheers rick

fix it properly, if you put a toggle switch on its open to human error(forget to turn it on) and a cooked motor will cost alot to repair, not to mention there is not temp gauge to know when it gets hot. so i suggest you replace what needs to bring it back to original

True the switch is open to human error but I seen a switch set up on a pro quad at the nationals that was activated by the handle bar turning works ok as long a you turn
Just food for thought but yeah back to original would be fool proof Cheers

i had a switch fitted to my quad so when i went down the beach and was doing powerslides and doughnuts, i could turn it on or leave it auto...

it doesnt hurt to have it running as soon as u switch the quad on, ie all the time, no switch, cept the key
