I was just wondering who's up for a ride this easter long weekend?
What day would suit most peaple?
Also it would be a good chance to get us all together and get some footage for the DVD. Very Happy
What do you all reckon?

Laughing Laughing Laughing Nah, he's got me on that one Tony. Yeah ive got wheels, they're not a problem. Ive got 3 sets now but i still havent got a carrier and bearings so my trike still only has one wheel bolted to it.

Anyways, what day do you all like... the Friday, the Saturday or the Sunday? Laughing Hopefully i will have found someone selling a carrier by then. Oh and good luck with your trike between now and then Jamie. Razz Razz Laughing

Well so far it looks like the Sunday or the Monday. So who's coming? So far we've got...

Me
Jamie and his Dad
and
Aussieduner.
Rolls eyes
Who else is coming?

This would be an excellant opportunity to get us all together to get some video footage for our trike DVD.

Wont be able to make it that weekend. Flat out with work at the moment. Will hopefully be up there the following weekend, camping with wife, kids & quads, if everything goes to plan & weather is resonable. Have fun.

Doing my best to make another cameo appearance.

just finished sticking a fox podium rear shock out of a predator 500 into the 450r rear end of my 86 250r that has an 85 frame (so i can chop it up for all this sheet without destroying the 86) Hrm Hrm Hrm Hrm Hrm Hrm Hrm Hrm Hrm

Also throwing together a bit of a handgrenade motor, out of stuff i've got laying in the dirt in the shed, so i can at least motor out onto the beach before i get a tow back to the carpark.

Honed the alloy deposits from the last blow up with a 3m paint removal flapper wheel from bunnings. Salvaged the bottom ring off the blown piston, gave it a clean up. Got another ring off another blown piston thats 1.5mm bigger but worn out enough to fit for the second ring after i filed the ends, stuck em both on a new cast piston that i stuffed the oil holes up when i drilled them. Rolls eyes Rolls eyes Rolls eyes Rolls eyes Rolls eyes Rolls eyes

Looking good!!!!!! probably last longer than some of the last serious rebuilds Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I know it sounds stupid but sometimes slap together engines end up outlasting the big $$ ones. You might not get the same hourse power out of them but you can still have heaps of fun Smile ......

That is so true. That pig on 3 wheels i used to own never had one bit of maintenance done to it in all 3 or more yrs me and my mates had it. I dont once remember anyone checking the oil, just fuel and go and you couldnt kill it.
