I was wondering what disadvantages of having taller handle bars and which brand would be good(if I go down this track). As a teenager my mate had an XR600 with atv bars on it and it was great for jumping....yeah....2-3foot was pretty serious to us....also I ride a grizzly and like the riding posture.
I read the previous topic about flexx handlebars and I personally don`t mind the average handlebars(or protaper bars)... I have nothing against other people using FLEXX but I don`t ride HARD and would rather stick with old school. What I`m really after is good durability. |

I had pro taper bars put on my trx400 while it was in having the pipe and jetting done. They are a good shape but still not high enough.
I have since added bar risers, just under one inch. I can't go any higher without lengthening the brake hose and re-routing the throttle and clutch cables. _________________ Cheers,
