Looking at the photo it appears the big difference between this one and the CanAm Spyder is this new one actually leans over like a two wheeler but keeps all wheels in contact with the road. Like the movement in a downhill skiers legs.

There was something similar on Top Gear a few years back.

The CanAm stays upright like a normal quad and you have to lean independantly of it to maintain ballance.

I reckon you have to get a quad made that kinda looks like a car(like car wheels and a nose that looks like a car) and the red tape would be cut in half.... anything that looks like a dirt bike would be shafted straight away.

they are a cool gadget, they brought it out here for the bike show ( in 07 if I remember correctly) there was an aprilia concept done by a uni student a few years ago that was much like the spyder but leans over more like a bike too.

Big Jb, part of the reason the CanAm Spyder is a little safer than a normal quad, apart from being driven by only one rear wheel, which means it won't "push" when cornering, it is also way lower than an offroad quad and the front suspension is fairly stiff so it doesn't dip when cornering.

Mind you, the passenger really does feel the G forces!

I haven't ridden one, but I followed one for a while and the passenger was definatley hanging on around the corners Razz
