just in case you havent seen my Ponde thread i have uploaded the recent ponde sand drags to youtube.
im riunning the POV.1 helmet cam, which is used mainly in rally cars and the like.
compared to most cams on the market, it is light years ahead.
8 gig card gets you 6 hrs at high def, and the lens design is great for whatever riding your doing.
next time i head up to the malley i will get some 220 - 240 kph action on the helmet cam.

Your right dangerman4, the quality is phenominal. I dont know a great deal about helmet cams but what sort of batteries would power that and how much record time should one expect to get without recharge etc?
Also, how much does a unit like that go for and where would i find one?

Thanx in advance.

P.S. I look forward to your 220+kph footage, another wheelie maybe? eek

maybe laughing

it runs on 4 aa's
i choose to run lithiums in it and as yet it has never gone flat on me in a riding session. i took around 2 hours of video at ponde and the batteries were still above 3/4.

the unit comes with a 1 gig card standard, but with a easy free firmware upgrade from there website i can now run a 8 gig card.
this gives me nearly 7 hrs of video

it also has a wireless start stop and tag buttun which is very handy.
