Mate i'll have a go at anything. I'm getting a 450 in the next few weeks. it won't be setup for flat tracking specifically but that will just make it easier to beat me
let me know when you are going and I'll see what I have on

no worries we just need numbers. i guess the only thing you need is wet slicks for oil and leathers for as well for supermoto and all your ins and outs have to be wired brake bolts to, outs of fuilds have to be caught if your going a 450, 300ml bottle will do the job it's about hr to do them all i use .8 weld wire. First track we'll get to is Maryborough on oil, very fast, let me know how you go with your bike and i'll try and help out with tyres and so on.

im into flat track and have just moved to brissy, but i left my bansh back home up north.
ive got all the gear to go racin and a senior national licence but i only have turf tamers for tyres and no leathers either.
what tyres do u reccomend for the maryborough oil track? how many quads do you normally get? what type of starts do you have and how many laps?
im keen to bring my quad down if there are few of us to go racin!
thanks, mark _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

yeah we run turf tamers for dirt. We use kings tire KT113 front and KT115rear(we use). or for same front different rear, look up Kenda speed racer. Front K546, rear K547(haven't used), or you can pay more go to american racers. For tar and oil. last the longest and good price. races are usually 5 laps, supermoto can go up to 12. Depends how buggered we are, sometimes bring it down for us. Gate starts, supermoto is grid start. its only been brother and i for about year and half. then i joined QQRA talked to Dan he said get on here so i think should grow abit now.

senior national is what i have. best bet would be to give MQLD a call 0732812255. tell them what your doing and they'll point you in the right direction. it'll either cost $230 for club or next one up would be senior national $265

Hi there, thought I would make myself known too. I am Wisey700R brother. We are very keen to get some more quad numbers in flat track events down and around SEQ, Northern NSW. Would be great to see the sport pick back up a little. _________________ ___________________________________

If you are running Turf Tamer tyres...they look just like knobby tyres don't they? Any reason why I couldn't just use what I had on the quad (they look similar anyway)?

Thought i should also add, harvesting is almost finished. meaning i'll have my weekends back again hoping by this time next week it's all done. so Mary will be first race we've missed a few dirt tracks but oil is just plain awesome. I have to jump on the Motocycle Sportsmen web site to find supermoto's but thier should be one a month somewhere.
