I think they do just bolt straight on but getting them from the states will kill you in freight costs _________________ Smitty |

Probably an out of the states thing only I'd say. I don't think the DVX was released in Australia? The magazines say that the plastic fits both machines but I would get onto some of the US chat rooms to make sure. You may need some brackets to do the job properly.
Good thing about the DVX plakkie is that it might be compact for shipping. The size of plastic is the killer for shipping. I got some rear fenders for my Tecate sent over and it was about $150USD in postage alone. Make sure you use USPS and not UPS, the difference in price is dramatic.
Having said that, Kawasaki quoted me $750 for a rear fender for my Tecate and even paying $150USD postage I still saved myself $330 bucks over the dealer price. How bike shops stay in business is beyond me. _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! State Status: VIC-No (Nazi's) QLD-Yes(no place to ride tho) NT-? I heard about an Arctic Cat dealer up northern Vic (Cobram possibly??)
And yes the plastics bolt straight on no probs.
The guy who was telling me about it was Geoff Hollingsworth (former QRCV president). You could try contacting him for more info. gholling@bigpond.net.au _________________ (PeteW's missus)
