I would just like to say IMHO the new KTM 505 SX is the best Quad I have ever ridden off the production line and by a long shot .
You bolt a Slip on and it has 51 Hp of pure rush to the redline
Ready to Race ? You bet your sweet potato it is .
It will do what no other quad can ...It handles like its on rails !
Money can't buy Low center of Gravity and less weight like this !
Chris Brenton (450cc) and Ant Yewers (505) and are raving about these Quads .
I believe Under 16.8 K is value for what you get !
You get what you pay for plus some.
Do Yourself a favor and contact your local dealer and ride one before you choose anything else .

Hey Noy Q75 , I believe that was Ants 505 , and yes I can correct you because I had it back at the workshop to check it out ,I didn't see you in the workshop at the time ? He did many many laps aswell ? Like many other brands on the Day they had clogged Air Filters from the super dusty conditions .Not sure where you got 5 hours from ? This motor had done 20+ hours so we pulled it down and replaced the piston and rings as per recommendation . Ant is at the same track today with a spare air filter so he doesn't have the same problems .
Good Luck with your Yamahaha _________________ Cheers

Its funny how people try to bag out a good thing and how rumors start...the filter is Dual Foam ,the oil filter no problems.I believe people with all different configurations of air filter had dust issues on the day ,It also means the filters are doing there job _________________ Cheers

You could try Sutto's ,speak to Chris himself and see if he can organize one .I prefer Carby's ...easy to work on and less to go wrong ,I have been told most Pro am racers in the states take the injection off the LTR 450 Suzukis and prefer fitting FCR carby's for better performance ,the reason the pros don't is the rule doesn't allow them to I will probably change my mind as systems get better in future _________________ Cheers

Hey Ryan,
You wouldn't be disappointed in the ride ,if Sutto doesn't have one on the floor ,I could arrange a ride on mine in a few weeks time .
Jetting is good ,slightly on the rich(safe) side where we like it .
Maybe 45 pilot instead of a 42 ... ,we didnt need to change jetting with an Akropovic slip on either ,depends on where you ride and conditions _________________ Cheers
