Hi all
First time quad owner.
I purchased my 2004 kfx700 off Hel-met (top bloke) on this very forum.
Picked it up yesterday and spent today reading the service manual, reading forum posts and youtubing atv accidents to remind me this is no toy.
I still cant beleive its mine and I have indeed brought a great (tuff looking)bike. Very clean bike that was well looked after. This thing is scary and I weigh 115kg but im also a newbie to quad bikes.
Im a 4wder and was going to buy a farm style quad (4x4 low range) but I cant ride in state forests (legally) so I decided on a fun/sport quad is what I need....for stockton.
I love the fact it's auto with reverse, its makes riding in tight spots so easy (my drive way hehehe).
Great forum.....cheers. |

Hey yogie,
Nice video and good taste in quads. I'll leave the mud for my patrol for now, The 700 looks too good to get muddy.......for a couple of weeks.
I did pm you when I first joined this forum about a bargin quad. It turned out to be a e-bay scam. I was lucky.
Cheers |

Welcome aboard.
All the best for the quad. Just watch it on the jumps or it will rip your arms off lol
Here's some pics of my 700:

Hey,
Riding it up and down the driveway is scary enough, let alone jumps or stunts. Stockton will be my first real ride and i cant wait.
