Camped out a Glendon Station over the weekend - first ride out, about 2 hours in I tried to avoid a HUGE washout (sudden 2 foot dugout) and locked up the front and crashed my Polaris Outlaw 500 into a tree.

Left hand lower A arm is bent... Being new to all this (but reasonably handy with a spanner)... what should I do now. Order a new one from the Polaris dealer (plus bushes)? Or are there aftermarket options?

Price is more of a consideration than upgrade atm, as I said I'm new, and this thing outperforms my abilities already, plus I'm probably going to do it again yet.

If I do order a new one from Polaris dealer, does it come with bushes, or do I have to order them separately?

Thanks for the help

Cheers
Paul

P.S. If my arm doesn't feel any better by tomorrow, I'm going to get X-Rays, yes, I hurt it too.

getting one a arm from a dealer is going to be cheaper that going aftermarket to begin with, also worth hunting around for some stockers that someone has taken off, try Luke at LBM (he runs the polaris race team) to see if he knows of any before you commit to buying a new one.

ddingo, yeah mate, just a sprained wrist. Feeling better and better everyday.

tool box, only needed the one, but next time I need something I'll give you a yell if you've got a 500 your parting. Actually I bent the bumper too, do you have a spare one of those?

My mate who was with me got a flat tyre, and has suggested that we get a spare wheel (have a couple of tyres)... Send me a PM if you like.

Thanks
