ill second that got my banshee ported a while ago from john and its insane the amount of power gain

I wil second that ,I have know jmc to be porting engines for years and does a very nice job.Huge improvement over stock.

new to this, but what exactly will the head porting achieve? are the gains only top end?
i only have a stocker with pipes, reeds and filter. so would it need bigger pistons and a rebore to get optimum power etc?

Johns been porting 2 strokes since the days when I use to ride my 3 speed dragster and BMX ( very early 80's) up and down his street.......... decades
I don't think you would find a guy who knows or done more about porting quad, trikes etc,
