I'm looking at getting a GPS for the car and would like to be able to fit it to my quad to log trail trips. Not worried about mounting cause i can easily fab something up.
Is one brand GPS better than others?
Can i log trips through the bush for future reference?
Do they car GPS units have this trip log feature?
don't really care for useless features like the ability to play movies, bluetooth etc etc just want to be able to know where to go in the city in the car and log trails in the bush.

Check out the Garmin Nuvi 500 This unit is Water proof and has a good sturdy case is able to be used on city roads and off road also marine you can import other maps into the unit also track and save all your trips. The best mounts are RAM mounts.
Check it out here [url https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=13424[/url]
