Hey all, the wife is keen to get a quad, her only experience so for is idling around on the Banshee, just chasing peoples opinions on what would be a good bike for her.
Im leaning towards a Blaster at the moment.
Cheers n beers

im giving my wife my trx400ex, perfect for her, frame is maybe a little big as shes fairly small, but she loves it, and best of all elctric start and no mixing fuel.

some think bigger than a blaster like my350yfm said a trx400ex would be great or a raptor 250 Smile

I Have a Honda TRX300EX that would be perfect.

much nicer to ride than a blaster in my opinion.

I would say a 4 stroker rather than a 2 stroke. Being a female i love both but i found it easier to lean on a 4 stroke.

I ride and race a YFZ450 and I love it. I doubt you could go wrong with brand choice either, over here all brands are covered and all like their own bike, you get used to what you have.

ust make sure you don't have a kick start as I have seen quite a few struggle with that one. What type of riding withh your wife be doing??

A Yamaha blaster, there not an explosive bike at all.
Very tame and a good all round bike, easier and a lot chheaper to maintain then a 4 stroke. laughing

my wife rides a Kawasaki Lakota, 300cc 4 stroke, elec start, auto clutch, 5 forward and 1 reverse, backup recoil start too just incase.

The fact she cant stall it and elec start she loves it

Kinda depends if she's up to changing gears or not. In my experience a lot of women occasional riders just wanna get on & go, the gears just complicates things.
My wife & sister in law both ride Polaris Phoenix's, CVT auto 200cc 4 stroke.
Not exactly a rocket but they are very user friendly & reasonably cheap too.

Whatever you decide on, happy trails together.......
cheers..
