my banshee crank is just about due for a re-build, my question is can i send it to someone (whats it gunna cost), get a OEM one, or get a hotrods one from the states(if they make em in standard stroke)
opinions and options appreciated

is there a difference in quality between the brands?
from what iv read the hotrods and wiseco are the same and are both made in taiwan and the vito's are made (i dunno) but their not as good as the wiseco or hotrods?

| Most aftermarket cranks come from the same factory and are rebadged to suit including Vito's. |

yeah all them aftermarkets are the same, and none of em are as good as a stock yamaha crank.
if your staying stock stroke I would get your crank rebuilt with 115mm rods, and use the 795 series pistons.
call this guy for the work mate, last time i got a quote off him it was like $500-600 all up, inluding parts/labour, trued and welded:

KIRRAWEE

its a touch more expensive than a hot rods setup but you will end up with a far better product.
hows the RZ setup coming along?
