pjs are 34s arent they?

get a boss racing billet intake, and run no spacer. they have an internal cross over built in, so you can delete the boost bottle.

the best thing about them though is it lifts the carbs nice and high off the clutch actuator

hey man, did you end up getting a boss intake?

one thing i just remembered is you might have to run the angled pod filters on them.

http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RU-1720

with my CPI's, my normal straight pods would hit the stingers and they wouldnt have lasted more than 5 mins i reckon.

this mightn't be the case with whatever pipes you are using, but i thought i would give you a heads up anyway!

yeah man

i picked up 5 hp on the dyno going from stock to 33's.

lost a bit down low but gained it in the upper mid and top.

this is with no porting/boring whatsoever, all bolt on mods.

if i didnt already have the carbs i wouldve bought 28s, but i thought id try this first and it worked out great. still very rideable.

with the 28s i reckon youd get the same increase and also not lose anything down low, but im just guessing.

the 34s that hulk is using is a different story again though, the Pj series is an older, less refined version compared to the PWKs im talking about.

i tested single 34 vs twin 34 on the drag strip 1/4 mile. Both setups returned the same top end 90mph

so does this mean im Ducked i am buying some parts and waiting for the right time to pull apart my bike.

My plans are to put in a 4 mill, port the cylinders, v3reeds, timing tooth, 34mm pj's, and i have already got them and also bought the boss intake. also looking at painting the frame and new fenders or possibly painting the fenders i have. i will also be adding on a good set of a arms and shocks back and front. Guys please add too this as much as you want cause it will be nice too see what you have tested so i dont need too... laughing

28/30mm is as big as you want to go but if you already have the carbs you might as well use them, from 28mm and up you will not gain alot and loose more down low. peak hp is irrelivant, to go fast you need a good spread of power
