Maybe Yamaha Oz will get us some info.......maybe they wont.

wow indeed, gonna make for an interesting proddy class next year....

still if they are going to produce a race ready one why don't they have it set up with nerfs etc.. already.

GRRRRRR so pissed at the moment i have made the big jump to race next year so i waited to see what yamaha were gona bring out in 09 . to find out it was the same bike so 3 weeks ago i went out and boughta yfz spent lots of money on it to get it ready and then they bring this out Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

its not getting released in the US until november, which means itll prolly be a few months after that until it gets here? so it woulda been a long wait!

hey just one note

the normal 09 is same as 08 ??? so if ya buy one of these ya cant use second standard 09 or older 450 parts as plastics and alot of other stuff are different so will have to buy new and genuine till aftermarket companys start production of em

looks impressive, hope thats an error in the weight specs!! --- maybe its wet weight?

I honestly think the weight reflects reality........it's heavy if you look at the specs but if you weighed all the different models at 49" full of oil and fuel I'm sure it isn't that bad.

curb weight is wet weight.

not sure i like the idea of a cast aluminium frame though, sure maybe lighter and stronger, but if it does break its much MUCH harder to weld.
