| Hi, I recently bought a stock 08 yfz450 with about 10 hours on it. A few times when I have ridden the bike I have lost power and the bike kind of chockes for a minute. The bike will run a bit rough for a few minutes, stalling when i try to accelerate or even reving the bike in nutreal makes it want to stall. It often backfires when its running like this. After it runs rough for a few minutes it is fine again for a while. When its doing it the bike will be really jerky to ride, kind of chugging along with little spurts of acceleration. Any ideas what the problem could be? Im not sure when the last service was, so im going to do that this weekend |

sounds like a dirty carb or bad fuel, when you service it make sure you clan the carb as 700quad has said and also put a new plug in etc..
what kind of fuel are you running in it? _________________
