I am a qualified Automotive mechanic and Associate member of the institute of automotive and mechanical engineers of Australia since 1986 ,started building and racing ATV's in 1985 and won an Australian ATC Title in 1986 .More recently Australian Nationals WA 2006 2nd to Grant Gaisford ,In 2007 Vic State Titles 2nd to Ant Yewers in the Vet's Class .

Australian Team Yamaha Pro racer Ryan Lancaster and Current Australian Number 2 on his YFZ 450 8 . Ryan would be arguably the fastest MX hard pack racer in Australia .
ATV NRG offered to help out in the engine department ,so we put together a local build engine combination for his mechanic Rosco . Rosco called me this week and said so far so good and Ryan commented "It is the fastest and best powered Quad I have ever ridden"Recently Ryan beat Reputable 2 wheeled riders on a local track by 3 seconds a lap ! This engine is a 450 cc and was done for around $2000 !

2008 Tri State series Vets Podium Man Ian "Snags"Haggie is sponsored by ATV NRG . Ian is a great guy and showed a lot of potential ,he is on a tight budget (as we all are !) but he needed to move from his Banshee on to a 450 to get ahead .
I sold him my trusty Honda TRX 450 R 2005 took off my race suspension,DASA 500cc Kit .Put on some plus 2" Alba a arms with the stock suspension,LSR Axel ,13:1 Piston with ATV NRG Porting , ATV NRG easy throw Thumb throttle ,ATV NRG Antivibe plus 2" Bar risers and way he went to victory.He has claimed some serious holeshots in NSW 2008 .Good stuff Snags,thanks mate !

2006 nats you came second to Grant Gaisford,

Ant Yewers was in the 35+ class...( a different race)

Grant by the way has a second and two National Titles in the 40+ vets class.
