there was a 4wd winch that did that, you could mount front rear and side, was a big unit though, your gunna need to make sure your weld points are spot on, could you make a cradle that runs from the front to the rear, that doubles up as a skid plate and there fore eliminating a lot of the stress of the chassis, when PULLING, I dont know realy??
But we expect a full build report and lots of pictures please so we all can find faults with it
(I am not being negative here) but we always miss a problem after we have looked at something a thousand times. And there are some wise heads here regardless.

Good luck.

no worries ,,,i welded a 4mm plate on the front then bolted the winch to it ,but what im gonna do is have to extend the tow bar as the factory one is only about 3 inchs long ,i will have to extend it about 4 inchs that way i should be able to drill 4 holes for the winch and then hopefully just be able to use pins and "R" clips as an easy move ,one thing i will probably do is get some thin rubber matting to put between the winch and base plate as too stop it from rattleing though,,will get some piccies tomorrow ,,,,thanx jas

I do this mod on newer quads using the hayman reese style . If you got a trailer parts supplier some where close get a tow bar weld a plate to it . get two female sections and weld them to the frame with gussets. Jobs done with one pin front and rear.
