The guys at Wakefeild Park Raceway have given ATVs a go.
We have a offical DRAG STRIP @ WAKEFEILD PARK for Quads & Trikes & Motorcycles.(DIRT DRAGS)
Classes are put together from STOCK to Modified & Open.
Each Class will be separate 4 Stroke & 2 Stroke.
Any input from you guys & girls or ideas would be greatly appreciated and will be passed on to Wakefeild we are trying to make this a enjoyable series for all.
The current thought is to have a 6 round series.
There is also Prizes to class winners which will be annouced during Round 4 of the comp.
There may be a possabilty for a kids class also.(Insurance Pending)
We are waiting on costs to be confirmed for the day which will include your insurance & so on.
If you wish to advertise your Business there is a opputnity for you to do so we have many non atv business supporting this series.
Expecting Track to be Ready Early September and 1st Meet is expected to be 21st September 2008.
As details are forwarded to me i will up date them.

Zack Great work on getting a strip.
I will hopefully be going if I have my bike togther.
I will be traveling from newcastle so if anyone wants to tag alone or has a monster trailer,we can all go togther.
It would be good if we can get some good numbers to make it look good for future events, so back of your thumb throttle screw and dust of your helmet ,grab your mates and lets go racing.
I think its great that completly stock bikes can participate and win prizes ,it will be down to rider skill and who has eaten the less big mac's.

Hey Zack well done on getting a venue. I personally have no intrest in drag racing but it seems alot of you guys do, and if you can get the kids involved your sport will grow like MX has.
Maybe just maybe i might turn up with an off it's tits Renegade one day and show you all up ha ha ha, not likely, well maybe you never know

Hi Nick,
For the first few meets up untill we get sorted we will just show up and race.
For the 2009 seasn hopefully by then we will able to have the club up and running.
But from peoples feed back so far i think we will just run out the remainder of the near meet by meet.
Would also like to thank Scott from ATVS UNLIMTED for sponsering the 2009 series.

| hey this sounds so sweet just a shame i carnt ride yet oh well my brother or murry can go tear it up. just wondering what the track surface will be like, will it be dirt with rocks & gravel or a nice sandy loam? i dont wont to tear up a set of paddles every meet, that will get expensive. |

hey i got in invite 2weeks ago from carla at millesent, for a drag event there holding on the 20th, the same weekend as wakefeild
she also mentioned that a zak from sydney was coming to the event
is wakefeild cancled? if so let us all know so we can head off to millesent in time,
