We have a class that races them here in South Africa ... there are not a lot of problems with them mechanically ... but that are not very wide. Spacers are not available yet, so we have had to make our own ... and that can cost!!

Also not a lot of mods ... basicall an add on pipe and remove spake thingy... That is about all for now. OH yes and porting and polishing the head ... but not a lot!

Very nice bike though!!

hi u-freak-69 my wife has a raptor 250 that has done just on 80 hours off riding.the bike has not missed a beat once and has been used for trail riding to mx on private track where it has been ridin hard by a couple of our friends.
we have changed the rear tyres to itp mx4's,jet kit and removed airbox lid, have exhaust ordered and looking at axle and a arms from lonestar.
the bike does seem tippy when u first get on is but just seems to reach a point of balance it likes and then rails corners, it also jumps quite well and doesnt seem to be hurting the frame (yet) but time will tell, the rider weight is between 49kg and 100kg depending on who is on it, (the wife is the small rider incase she reads this) hope been helpful
